Criteria for grants for photographic art therapy

Criteria for the grant of financial assistance for Photographic Art Therapy by the Foundation

Sums of between £250 and £1000 are available.

Only one application in any one year can be made.  Applications will open on the 18th of January in each year  and close on the 2nd of April in each year.  Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in June of each year. The Trustees will not enter into any correspondence regarding their decisions. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered  for the award of a grant.

A full plan together with supporting documentation including a budget showing how the proposed project meets the Foundation’s purposes; how the funds will be spent and within what period, must accompany any application.

 A report, together with supporting documentation and photographic /video evidence as appropriate, showing how the funds were spent, with supporting accounts and receipts, and the benefit(s) provided thereunder, must be provided to the Foundation within 1 year of the grant being awarded.

Each recipient of a grant must acknowledge in any exhibition or publication, the outcome of the funds provided by the grant, the fact that funding was made possible by the Foundation.

The Trustees of the Foundation reserve the right to visit the recipient of the grant, on completion of the project, to ensure that the grant monies have been spent by the recipient as indicated in their application to the Foundation.

All personal data will be held securely by the Foundation.  It will only be used in the process of administering grants in the exercise of the Foundation’s task and will not be transferred to any third party.
